CNC Repair Tip #5: EX1047 Machine Spec. Parameter Cleared: Setting PC Parameters on Mori Seiki M-300 with Fanuc Control 0-M
There was an alarm on the screen: “EX1047 Machine Spec. Parameter Cleared”. The majority of the PC data was re-entered with no problems, but several woul not “take”. That is, when values were entered, the values would reset to “0″ when the INPUT key was pressed. These parameters were DGN 662, DGN 663, DGN 667, and DGN 668. The EX1047 alarm remained as a result.
CNC Repair Tip #4: Magazine Index/ Overshoot Problems (3-Phase Magazine Motor)
The problem that occurs is mis-positioning of the magazine after the index. The switches or encoder are checked and found to be working correctly, and yet the magazine mispositions and alarms out the machine or messes up the ATC cycle. Any guesses yet?
